How Kundalini Yoga and Night Affirmations have helped me immensely!

I recently have been going to Kundalini Yoga classes and want to share its value with you today.

Kundalini Yoga is a powerful healing modality. It focused on strengthening your nervous system – then your body and consciousness are able to shift to new ways of perceiving the past, present and future. It’s a brilliant unfolding with lots of twists and turns.

I have been going to kundalini yoga because I have been feeling a type of out of balance feeling. When I get stressed or anxious, I feel out of balance/out of control. This is something many people can feel, and Kundalini yoga is the key to balancing yourself.

A key element in balancing yourself is to remember we are all made up of masculine and feminine energy. And you are whole and complete. Picture yourself standing right in the middle of the two sides, complete and open.

Kundalini yoga focuses on breath and sitting yoga to access and activate your Kundalini energy, or shakti. This is a spiritual energy that's said to be located at the base of your spine.

The movements of moving the spin combined with breath of fire can release pent up stress and trauma from inside.

Breath of Fire is a breathing exercise used in Kundalini yoga. It involves passive inhales and active exhales that are quick and powerful. As a form of breath control, this breathing technique is associated with stress relief. It may also improve respiratory health, concentration, and mindfulness.

I highly suggest anyone trying this out. The changes I have felt from just doing TWO classes of kundalini yoga have been immense!

Another great way to subconsciously train your brain to release negativity and only absorb positive growth is by listening to affirmations at night.

Nighttime, immediately before sleep, is also a potent time for affirmations, as it helps to reconfigure your subconscious mind as you drift off to sleep. ... There is no need for your mouth to move or for you to make any sound, as long as you can feel the words in your own mind.

I suggest you listening to positive phrases while falling asleep. I suggest you look up Honest Guys Night Affirmations on YouTube and find the ones that feel right for you. If you practice this over and over at night, in time you will feel a subconscious requiring and growth of your mind/mindset. Blockages will disappear and you will feel the best you have ever felt.

An example of an affirmation can be: “I release today. I let go of fear, worry, anger, and blame. . .”

Everything you do resides in the brain first. Taking care of your mind is the key to achieving your best life.
